IPD (Investment Property Databank) will present at BUMP a World-Class Session to take place on Wednesday, July 2nd at 4:15 p.m. on “Real Estate Perfomance in CEE Marketplaces: From Transition to Transparency”.
After an overview of IPD’s CEE index, its rationale and current status quo, the session will focus on the characteristics of the market in terms of size, main sector activity, and patterns of investment. In particular, the nature and characteristics of funds investing into the market relative their nationality (foreign vs. domestic), their nature (single country funds vs. regional funds), their strategies (sector, segment, and modus operandi - with or without local partners) will be highlighted. Plus a look to the future and expectations of whether the investments are for the long or the short term, and which marketplaces have now emerged most fully.
This session will be moderated by Nassos Manginas, Director, Business Development Europe, IPD, and will have as speakers Jan Kubicek, Portfolio Manager Central Europe, ING REIM; Ross MacDiarmid, Director, Danube Property Fund; Alberto Mas, President, Capitolian Corporation, and Edgar Rosenmayr, Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Board, Immoeast.
