He has a degree in International Economic Relations by the Economic Studies Academy of Bucharest (1972-1976) and also a degree in International Law by the University of Bucharest (1978-1983) Marinel Burduja is the First Vicepresident of Raiffeisen Bank (Romania) SA – Bucharest.
Previously he held different positions in Raiffeisen: until April 2005, Vice President, Corporate Banking Division, after that and since April 2005 he was Deputy Chairman & CEO of the Corporate Banking Division.
From 1998 to 2001 Marinel Burduja was working at ABN AMRO Bank in Bucharest as Vice President. From 1996-1998, Credit Anstalt AM – Bucharest holding the position of Senior Vice President. Before that and from 1994 to 1996 he was working at BANCOREX (Bucharest) as Vice President. In 1993, Christian Dior Romania – Bucharest as Country Manager. From 1991 to 1992, BANCOREX - Piatra Neamt, Director. From 1990 to 1991, he held several political positions in Bucharest: Roumanian Parliament – Independent Deputy, External Policy Committee – Vice President, City Hall of Piatra Neamt – Mayor, Independent candidate, Federation of the Romanian Municipalities – President.
From 1986 to 1989 he worked at Investment Bank – Piatra Neamt as Inspector and prior that from 1979-1985 he worked at National Aeronautic Institute as Economist. From 1976 to 1979 Marienl Burduja worked as Economist at CONFEX.
He is Senior member of Romanian Banking Institute.
