Markus Leininger joined Rheinhyp in 1995 and started his career in the International Property Lending Department (UK, Netherlands, Scandinavia). In mid-1997 he took over responsibility setting up the Central European Property Lending Division. After opening offices in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary, he managed a team which concentrates on financing of all types of large commercial properties (Retail, Offices, Hotels and Distribution Warehouses) in the region. In 2001 he was managing the set-up process of Rheinhyp’s operations in North America. Since EUROHYPO's merger which took place in September 2002 he is heading the Central and Eastern European Property Lending Division (incl. Austria).
