Foreign investment in residential developments continues to grow in Romania. Nevertheless, the truth is that the housing demand will not be satisfied with the number of existent residential developments underway which may result in more investment in-flows in the coming years. Therefore it still is of great importance to analyze from a legal and tax perspective the whole development process: where to invest? Which is from the tax perspective the best vehicle to make such an investment? What aspects should be kept in mind at the time of closing the acquisition of a plot of land? What issues are the most important to be considered in the construction contract? What agents participate in the constructive process? How does the final consumer access to buying a home? What tax issues are relevant for him and the developer selling the unit? All these issues will be analyzed in a useful way during the presentation.
