Dr. Manginas studied from1985 to 1990 business economics at the Friedrich Alexander University in Nürnberg. In 1992, he obtained an Msc in International Business and Economic Development at the University of Reading with permission to proceed to a research degree. He then went on to take a PhD on the topic: “Determinants of bank profitability: The case of European commercial banks” at the department of Economics at Reading University.
In January 1997 he joined the international division of IPD working initially at the UK and Dutch projects. From June 1997 he helped to develop and establish the German project into a fully-fledged and integrated databank and portfolio analysis service. Since 2002 he became Managing Director of IPD Investment Property Databank GmbH in Germany while at the same time managing the markets of Switzerland, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. From January 2008 he was promoted to Director Business Development, Europe managing key accounts and growing IPD’s business in the various European markets.
